Strong proposals begin with a focused question and explain why it matters beyond a fleeting burst of attention. We are interested in careful explainers, comparisons, cultural context and close looks at how a new interest takes shape in ordinary life.

A useful pitch

Tell us the working angle, the main point you want readers to take away and what makes your approach distinct. A brief outline and a note about the sources or examples you would use help us assess the idea. Please flag uncertainty rather than promising a prediction.
